So that your head does not hurt from the very beginning (there is still a choice of a hotel ahead), we have compiled for you a selection of great places where you can go to relax at sea with children, depending on the season.

By the way, on a family vacation it is more convenient to go on a tour. We advise you to look for tours at competitive prices on online services with the largest database of offers from reliable tour operators:

  • Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia (Bali)

  • Tunisia
  • Dominican Republic, Cuba

You can apply for a tourist visa upon arrival at the airport, having received an electronic permit in advance, in Goa and Sri Lanka.

Where to go on vacation in the summer with children?

In the summer, it is somehow not customary to fly with a child to the sea far away (unlike winter), and why, when the Black and the Mediterranean are “at hand”. Therefore, we will consider European countries + Turkey and Tunisia. However, you can also relax with children in Vietnam (Nha Trang and Hoi An) and Bali.

Beach holidays with children at sea

Beach holidays with children in the summer are the easiest to arrange: the holiday season opens in all European countries.

Where can you relax with your family in June, July and August? Tops the rating of popular resorts Mediterranean and Black Sea.

Turkey

First of all, this is an ideal example of a comfortable stay with children with all-inclusive and rich animation. But, it must be admitted, only for June. The climate in summer Turkey is not so mild - in July and August there is unbearable heat. This is confirmed by the reviews of tourists. Few listen - the warm sea decides. What else do you need to know

Where? Perhaps Alanya and Side are the most popular places for holidays with children: budget, sandy beaches. True, getting from the airport is far away - about 150 km, but the road is flat and takes about 3 hours.

What is the price? Turkey is one of the few countries where children's holidays can be organized inexpensively - from 60,000 rubles for 2 adults and a child for a week.

Greece

Excursion from Rhodes to the island of Symi

Greece is very diverse in terms of excursions, but suffers in relation to all inclusive.
The question of choice is more limited not by the area (there are beaches suitable for families with children everywhere in Greece), but by a hotel that would be adapted for families with children. In the second half of summer, maximum temperatures are set in the country, but because of the winds, the heat is more easily tolerated than, for example, in Turkey.

Cyprus

Why pay attention to Cyprus? All the possibilities to feed, buy and entertain the children. And do not tire your parents with the visa issue (done in 1-2 days) 🙂

A beautiful coast and a gentle entrance to the sea, a lot of hotels with a focus on children's recreation.

Where? Family tourists prefer Ayia Napa, Protaras and Limassol

What is the price? Vouchers in high season are sold from 65,000 rubles - 7 nights, child + parents.

Bulgaria

Of the advantages of Bulgaria, we can say the following: affordable prices, easy acclimatization for kids, no language barrier. However, the country itself in terms of service, entertainment and infrastructure is a level lower than the above directions.

Where? Sunny Beach resort is a constantly crowded place, because it is great for children, plus the cool Action water park. Albena is a "closed" hotel-type town with good beaches.

Tip: in Bulgaria it is better to choose hotels of at least 5 stars and an area away from Burgas (there is an oil refinery).

What is the price? From 60,000 rubles for three.

Spain

Head to the left of the central beach in Barcelona - there are fewer people

Holidays in Europe in the summer are most popular in Catalonia. Here, literally everything is adapted for family tourists, but you need to be careful with the weather - heavy heat comes from the middle of summer.

Where? An ideal place for children's holidays is the Costa Dorada with fine sand and gently sloping beaches. The mind-blowing amusement park PortAventura is a wonderful bonus for a child of any age.

What is the price? Starting prices for tours - from 75,000 rubles for a weekly vacation with a child. Provided you have a visa.

Montenegro

In recent years, more and more tourists are attracted by the Adriatic Sea - wonderful ecology (pine forests and sea air) and a calm atmosphere. We recommend booking tours for July-August, although these are very crowded months - the sea will definitely warm up.

Croatia

Croatia is mainly about nature. There are more pebble or even concrete beaches, the service is nondescript and there is really no entertainment - everything replaces the sea and mountains.

Where? Istria or Dalmatia

What is the price? For three - from 70,000 rubles for 7 nights.

Tunisia

"French Africa" with low prices and a convenient coast, although in July and August it is already too hot here. For children, a trip in the summer is most favorable in the second half of June-mid-July.

Where? Hammamet has the cleanest sea, excellent beaches and all the conditions for relaxing with a child - Carthageland amusement park is one of the interesting things. Djerba Island is also good, but there is nothing to do outside the hotels.

What is the price? From 80 000 rubles.

Where to go to relax in the fall with children?

After the summer school holidays, it's time to go on a trip for parents with kids. In September, the flow of tourists is already significantly reduced, and prices for vouchers are accordingly reduced. At the same time, the beach season in October and even in November in European resorts is just beginning to come to an end, and the weather is perfect for long trips. In autumn, you no longer have to hide from the summer heat and you can fully enjoy your vacation on the coast.

Where to go to relax in the fall with a child? If you want to sunbathe and swim:

  • in Israel, the beach season is in full swing, plus here you will find wellness programs. The sea allows you to swim until the end of October - personally verified by us :)
    Tour:

    Tour:
  • for a trip to Turkey, it is not even necessary to take a phrasebook, and the beach season will end no earlier than mid-November

Where to relax in the winter with a child at sea?

Where can you relax abroad in winter with children so that acclimatization is easy, and a beach holiday brings only pleasure? When choosing resorts for children, keep in mind: the climate of the country should be mild without high humidity and a strong difference in day and night temperatures, at least during this season, if you relax by the sea, the daytime air temperature should differ by only a few degrees.

Beach holidays with children in winter

Resorts where you can relax in the winter with a child are mainly located in Southeast Asia, i.e. involve a long flight. Where is the best place for a family vacation, and your children will not get bored?

  • India, in particular Goa, is a place for a relaxing holiday on the ocean coast, surrounded by wildlife, without too much noise and fuss. Good for families with small children.
    Tour:
  • In Thailand, in addition to the snow-white beaches on the islands and the purest azure water, families with children are attracted by numerous amusement parks and exotic fauna.
    Tour:
  • The United Arab Emirates is the world's best water parks and super modern service of the highest level, a huge selection of entertainment for children and parents.
    Tour:

Ski resorts and sightseeing holidays

Winter is a great time for excursion routes and introducing children to skiing.

  • In the winter of 2019, if you go at the end of December or at the beginning of January, in Finland you can not only ride on Santa's sleigh, but also have lunch with him. Lapland will leave an indelible impression on a three-year-old kid, schoolchild and their parents.
  • Christmas Prague and Berlin will enchant you with a fabulous atmosphere.
  • In February, Spain will meet with comfortable weather for traveling around the country.
    Tour:
  • In the Alpine ski resorts, designed for families, there are specially equipped children's tracks and clubs, where experienced animators will play with a small child while the parents are skiing.

And if you decide to take your family out for the winter holidays, where is the best place to go? Holidays with children for the New Year 2019 are most affordable, probably, in Turkey, at this time it is very cheap compared to other seasons. But this does not mean that the quality of rest will suffer greatly, now we will talk about the features of such a trip.
The weather at this time of the year is mostly sunny and almost without rain, about +20 in the sun. You can fish, read on sunbeds on the beach.

Turkey in winter is not at all the same as in the season - no one sticks with their goods, there is no abundance of tourists and noise. You can visit the wonderful place Side in a relaxed atmosphere. This ancient Greek city is very popular with children, thanks to its favorable location, mild climate and interesting historical component, it has long been a target for numerous tourists and vacationers.

In terms of price / quality ratio - Turkey for the New Year is an excellent option. We advise you to buy tours for the New Year in advance (we wrote about the benefits of early booking):

Where to go on vacation with children in spring?

Holidays with children in the spring of 2019 can be spent both along excursion routes and by the warm sea.

Beach holidays at sea

At the beginning of spring, not all popular resorts are ready to accept beachgoers, and if you want to go on a trip with children to the warm sea, be prepared to fly in a few hours.

  • In Spain, at this time, you can relax economically and see all the sights in small tourist groups, and amusement parks and swimming pools compensate for the lack of the opportunity to swim in the sea.
  • In Cyprus, the beach season will begin in May, and in March and April you can get acquainted with historical sights and admire the flamingos in Larnaca.
  • And of course - Paris, with the famous Disneyland.
  • The Black Sea will allow you to relax at home no worse than abroad. To your pleasure, Crimea and the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory: Sochi, Anapa, Adler, Gelendzhik and many others, spread along the entire coast.

Holidays with children at sea in Russia has its pros and cons.

    Pros:

    • the place of rest can be reached by bus, car or train;
    • you can rent housing privately at low cost;
    • there will be no difficulties with medical care under the MHI policy;
    • food does not differ from the usual, summer is the season for all southern fruits and berries;
    • there will be no language barrier with staff and vacationers.

    Minuses:

    • rest in a European-level hotel at a price comparable to Turkey and even Spain;
    • along the entire coast in the summer there is a large influx of vacationers;
    • the level of domestic service and safety is inferior to foreign ones;
    • in the summer season, the cleanliness of the beaches and the sea is not ideal.

In Crimea, holidays are more budgetary, but getting to the peninsula is somewhat more difficult.

What is necessary for a holiday with a child abroad?

What should be considered first of all when choosing a tour for a trip to the sea with a child?

    • Flight time and distance of the resort from the airport. Ideally, you should choose direct flights or with a minimum of transfers and short waiting times, hotels to which the transfer takes no more than an hour.
    • The presence of nearby attractions and entertainment complexes that are interesting for children of a certain age.
    • Holidays on an all-inclusive basis with a children's menu or apart-hotels with their own kitchen. Do not be too lazy to grab a blender for babies 1-2 years old.
    • Distance from the beach: immediately exclude hotels located more than 500 m from the sea. For children 3-4 years old, a longer distance can be tiring.
    • The beach should be sandy with a smooth entry into the sea, located in bays protected from the wind to avoid waves.
    • Special infrastructure on the territory of the hotel: children's clubs, swimming pools, slides, mini-disco, animators, developing programs. It is better if the children's pool is located next to the adult.
    • Russian speaking staff at the hotel.

Table of seasons by country for a beach holiday

So that you can better navigate, we have prepared for you tables of seasons by country for a comfortable stay on the beach.

The beginning of summer is also the start of the “migratory” season for parents: the child needs to be urgently taken to warmer climes to buy and have fun. We found out which countries are best for families with children.

4-12 months: good where mom is

Purpose: to let parents have fun. Now many pediatricians do not mind traveling with babies. The main thing is that the child is healthy, and the trip lasts more than three weeks - in this case, acclimatization will pass smoothly and imperceptibly. It is very important to provide yourself and the baby with the most comfortable living conditions and make sure that qualified medical care, if anything, will be provided immediately. A very young traveler is usually not afraid of a change of scenery: he eats with appetite, sleeps for a long time and, along the way, learns the world around him with pleasure. The tasks of the parents accompanying him, in general, are the same - to sleep, swim and relax.

Experienced advice. If the baby is more than six months old, a hefty supply of baby food will be added to the luggage: complementary foods are in full swing, and the usual food may not be at the destination. In addition to the stroller, bring a sling or a carrier: hands-free at the resort will be very useful to you. Diapers and hygiene products can be found on the spot, but sunscreen (with an SPF of at least 50 and marked “allowed for use by children under one year old”) is better to test at home: what if the crumbs are allergic to it?

Italy. Schengen visa. The resorts here are located on four seas - the Adriatic, Ionian, Tyrrhenian and Mediterranean (the islands of Sicily and Sardinia). Popular tourist areas are Tuscany, Calabria and Ischia (here, in addition to the sea, there are hot thermal springs).

Greece. Schengen visa. Numerous Greek islands are quite suitable for families, but with children they often come to Crete and Kos, as well as the Halkidiki peninsula. The air humidity here is low, and the heat is easier to bear than, for example, in Turkey.

Croatia. Attention: from July 1, 2013, citizens of Russia will need a national Croatian visa to enter (until this date, you can get by with a Schengen visa). An excellent country for a quiet family vacation: the sea is warm and clear, the weather is almost always excellent, and there is also the opportunity to go to Italy on a one-day excursion.

Where to live? Pay attention to small coastal hotels and private hotels. They usually have from 5 to 20 rooms, the owners themselves take care of the guests. You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner or eat at nearby restaurants. As a rule, there is a private garden and a small pool. Another convenient accommodation option is villas or cottages.

1-2 years: everything is so interesting!

Purpose: to see and touch. Neither mass organized entertainment nor communication with peers are of particular interest to kids yet, but they really appreciate new tactile sensations. Splashing, pouring water from a bucket into molds, digging up the beach, building sand castles, folding patterns from pebbles, collecting sticks with shells and looking at flowers - the little one is ready to do all this all day long. At this age, children are especially complacent about swimming, so choose accommodation closer to the beach, and also get a small inflatable pool that can be placed under an umbrella and filled with sea water.

Experienced advice. Up to two years, the baby can fly on an airplane without a ticket (but without his own seat). However, for a child, you can still buy a ticket at a child fare: it is cheaper than an adult, and you will certainly need a free seat. Holding a merry two-year-old in your arms for several hours is a dubious pleasure.

Where? It is better to spend a vacation in a country with a mild climate and diverse landscapes: let there be not only the sea with a promenade for walking, but also forests, parks, squares.

Turkey. You do not need to make a visa in advance: a stamp is placed in the passport when crossing the border. It is better to come here in mid-June, when the sea warms up enough. But in August it gets too hot. Look for clean sand, pine forests and healthy air in Belek, pebble beaches and green parks in Kemer, and modern comfortable hotels in Side.

the Baltics(Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). Schengen visa. The most comfortable time for rest is from mid-July to the end of August. Keep in mind that the weather here is quite unstable, clouds and wind can quickly give way to the sun - and vice versa. But there are also advantages: a very shallow refreshing sea, clean beaches, beautiful pine groves and excellent playgrounds.

Montenegro. If your holiday will last more than a month, you will need a tourist visa. You can get it (for a period of 3 or 6 months) at the local police station or in advance - at the Embassy of Montenegro. It is not very convenient to move around with a stroller here: the coast is quite hilly, and the cities are built in "tiers", and there are many stairs in them. But here is a clean and warm sea, delicious food and very beautiful mountains.

Where to live? Apartment (or apart-hotel) - a residential complex with apartments: there are one or two bedrooms and a living room, usually combined with a kitchen. Cottages or villas are also suitable - certainly with a kitchen where you can easily prepare children's food.

    3-4 years: play with me!

Purpose: to have fun. The kid has already grown up and spends most of the time in the "I myself!" mode. It's time for an all-inclusive holiday. Its main advantage is that you do not have to worry about food or entertainment: the right hotel will offer it all in stock.

Where? Where there are large tourist complexes with water parks, children's clubs and Russian-speaking animators. Advice: study the programs offered to kids in advance - these can be dance or singing competitions, preparation for a masquerade or a pirate party, culinary master classes in cooking pizza and cookies, etc.

Turkey and Greece. Choose club hotels on the first line, with their own green area and different types of rooms - in large buildings or separate villas.

Spain. You will need a Schengen visa. Popular areas are Costa Brava and Costa Dorada, small hotels are usually located across the road from the beaches. You can also consider the coast of Almeria (Andalusia): tourists began to explore this area not so long ago, the hotels here are new and comfortable, and nearby there are unique nature reserves - for example, the Cabo de Gato park with volcanic rocks and large pink flamingos.

Cyprus. An application for a tourist pro-visa can be filled out on the website of the Cypriot embassy. In response, you will be sent a confirmation with a number that you will need to show at the airport and get a stamp in your passport.

The climate and landscapes here are similar to the Crimean ones - not too hot, a lot of greenery, the sand on the beaches is fine and clean. Traditional places for family holidays are Limassol and Larnaca. Be sure to visit the water park and the dolphinarium!

Where to live? The best choice is hotels or large hotel complexes with their own (sometimes downright gigantic) territory and developed infrastructure. There are restaurants and playgrounds, mini zoos and water parks, a team of cheerful animators, children's clubs, and a mandatory evening disco. In addition, hourly babysitting services are offered.

5-6 years: I want to know everything!

Purpose: to be interesting. Curiosity peaks at this age, so don't waste your time: when choosing a route, plan "radial" trips, excursions and visits to amusement parks.

Where? You can already pay attention to the countries that offer "civilized" forms of entertainment.

Spain. We advise you to focus on the capital. Right in the city is the largest oceanarium in Europe with hundreds of species of underwater flora and fauna. And not far from Barcelona is one of the largest children's parks "PortAventura" - with attractions for every taste and playgrounds.

Denmark. Schengen visa. Billund is home to the famous Legoland theme park. Absolutely everything has been created here from Lego parts - houses and parks, playgrounds and world attractions in miniature, for example, the Statue of Liberty and Big Ben. Of course, the main entertainment here is the independent construction of new art objects.

France. Schengen visa. Here, of course, Disneyland near Paris deserves the closest attention - a fairy-tale world with attractions for children and adults. We recommend that you take a look at the corner dedicated to the Walt Disney Film Studio: this is a real film set with pavilions where you can see how cartoons and shows are created, as well as learn the secrets of some special effects. In addition, we advise you to look into Breteuil Castle ("Puss in Boots' Domain") to get to know the heroes of Charles Perrault's fairy tales better, climb through labyrinths and have a picnic in a mysterious forest. Another point of the French program is a visit to the Paris Museum of Science: this is a whole city where many secrets of the world around will be revealed to the child.

Sweden. Schengen visa. In the center of Stockholm, there is the fabulous Junibacken Museum dedicated to the heroes of the works of Astrid Lindgren: Emil from Lenneberga, Pippi Longstocking and Karlsson, who lives on the roof, are waiting for the kids.

Where to live? In addition to city hotels, it makes sense to consider other accommodation options: in a villa (a separate house with a small private territory), in a cottage (the same villa, but designed for 2-4 families) or in a campsite for tourists traveling by car. On the campsite, you can set up a tent or rent a very simple small house with a minimum of amenities.

Where to go to the sea with children in the summer, the best places for families with children from personal experience, the beaches of Europe are the most suitable for traveling with children. The combination of comfort, affordability, price, budget, quality. Chose the best places in terms of price - quality - convenience for children.

Children are not a reason to sit at home on the couch, giving up sunbathing, Mediterranean cuisine and romantic family walks along the sea? In no case. In this review, we will forget about the traditional Turkey and Egypt, let's skip the pretentious Maldives and Seychelles, and we do not consider options such as Crimea or the Black Sea region due to a clear discrepancy between price and quality.

"... I will focus only on options for a beach holiday with children that I personally and my children have tested - no Internet speculation and other people's photos. All these places are united by three things - a small resort village, a clean beach and budget accommodation for a family.

Type of journey- "car" or "aircraft plus car" from this and proceed.

The car is more budgetary and more interesting, the plane is faster and more comfortable, choose for yourself.

    Bulgaria

At the resorts of Bulgaria, my youngest daughter rested for three years in a row and highly appreciated the local resort village Ravda and local fine sandy beaches and dunes. The village of Ravda is located 30 km from Burgas Airport, next to the ancient Nessebar. This is a youth and children's resort with high opportunities and low price, thanks to which it occupies the first line of my rating of beach holiday destinations for parents with children.

How to get to the village of Ravda, Bulgaria

UIA direct flight from Kyiv to Burgas or on your own car, especially if you live in the south of Ukraine. Many people travel to Bulgaria by car even from Kyiv, I have an article about the features of driving in Bulgaria by car, maybe it will be useful to you.

You can book a flight ticket on the UIA website, but it is better to use the aviasales.r u aggregator and buy a cheap flight ticket to Kyiv-Burgas or Moscow-Burgas

How to find budget accommodation in Ravda, Bulgaria

Hotels Combined (Room Guru). In this case, I have the opportunity to compare prices on different booking sites.

    • For example, all accommodation options in the village of Ravda , Bulgaria
    • Booking.com - family hotels in Ravda

You can relax very cheaply and comfortably if you book an apartment in the village of Ravda through the Airbnb service, the price starts from 10-15 dollars for an apartment near the sea. Those who are not registered on the Airbnb website can do this follow the link and get a cash bonus on your first booking.

    Cyprus

Cyprus is considered by many to be a youth and party island, and this is nothing more than a stereotype. The party is concentrated only in Ayia Napa, and even then not everywhere. And Cyprus can be considered a universal island equally suitable for families with children, party-goers and pensioners. Just choose the right resort and time of year.

Place of rest in Cyprus with children: Protaras. It is in the Protaras area that sandy beaches with a shallow entrance to the water, clear water and cool infrastructure. Active party-goers will be bored here, and families and lovers of good beaches will be just right. The best beach in Protaras is the city's Sunrise Beach, which stretches along the entire village, adjacent to it is the iconic and cozy Fig Tree Beach. It is along these beaches that I recommend looking for housing.

    How to get to Cyprus

Flight to Larnaca: budget Wizzair and UIA fly from Kyiv, if you take care of it in advance, you can buy tickets no more than $150 in the summer season and no more than $60 in spring or autumn. We buy tickets on the website aviasales.r u

    Spain

As an alternative to the popular and noisy Costa Brava (Barcelona), relatively recently we discovered a quiet family beach town - Oliva, which is not far from Valencia. The resort is often referred to as the Costa Blanca, although it is more correct to attribute the place to the Costa de Valencia.

Resting place - Oliva, Costa de Valencia

There is less green here than in Greece, but a beautiful sandy beach with a dune. The peculiarity of the area is that in the summer afternoon the wind blows from the sea, parents will have the opportunity to practice kite surfing. In the morning - silence, smoothness and God's grace. There are a couple of bars and cafes, but the place is more for those who prefer to cook on their own. There is a shop.

The peculiarity of the resort is that the entire coast is given over to apartments and campsites, ideal for families with children, there are no noisy large hotels.

How to get to Oliva, Spain, Costa de Valencia

Buy a cheap air ticket to Valencia, from there by rental car or taxi.

You can buy a ticket on the website www.aviasales.ru– prices, service, interface – everything we love.

It is best to book a car on - this is an analogue Booking.com they have one owner. Choose Valencia airport, time and rental period. For a deposit, it is better to have a credit card with a sufficient limit - 300-600 euros, the deposit is returned after the end of the rental period, everything works - checked.

Can get from Valencia airport by taxi- it can and is best ordered online at. You will be met by a driver holding a sign with your name and taken to your apartment in Oliva. We used their service in Cyprus - very convenient.

    France. Cote d'Azur

This is not a scary phrase for the budget. The Cote d'Azur of France is not always a priori expensive and pretentious. The former fishing village of Le Lavandou is 12 km away. sandy beaches surrounded by magnificent nature at relatively affordable prices. If you do not dine in expensive restaurants on the coast and do not live in local 3-4 star hotels, you can meet a decent budget and spend your vacation in high quality and style.

Resting place - the village of Le Lavandou, Provence, French Riviera

A wonderful place with a sandy beach and good infrastructure. There are many hotels both on the first line and in the depths, cafes and restaurants on the shore and in the village - the difference is in the view of the sea and the price.

How to get to Le Lavandou

Buy a cheap air ticket for a direct flight from Kyiv to Nice with the UIA airline, from there on a rented car to Le Lavandou (120 km). There is something to see in the surroundings - a stop can be made in every village. Active parents will not be able to live by the beach alone
