Alone at sea with a child: rest or hell? I rested on the sea with my mother

I wanted to go to the sea with a child, but no one can fly with you. Or it cannot fly for the entire period and in part you have to live with the baby in the resort alone.
Is it worth planning such a vacation at all, and what should be taken into account?
I must say right away that for mothers who actively travel with children on their own, the article is unlikely to have anything interesting, and some things will seem from the category of “captain obvious”. However, what may seem self-evident to an experienced “mamstravel” sometimes becomes a complete discovery for a mother going on vacation with a child for the first time. Let's get started.

1. WE CONSIDER OUR OWN EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
If you were actively traveling the world before having a baby, this experience may help you, or maybe ... and quite the opposite. Because many of the spa habits you had before your baby was born no longer work. And yet, if you have already been to the place where you plan to relax with a baby (or maybe not a baby at all), you will be able to appreciate some things better from the point of view of the now mother.
If in your ordinary life you cope with a child without help, then it will not be difficult for you here either. Because your life on vacation can be organized in the same way as you are used to at home, especially if you rent an apartment and not live in a hotel.
When reading reviews about specific vacation spots, certain hotels, beaches, etc., pay attention, if possible, to the problems and difficulties that other mothers describe, and when reading rave reviews, specify what experience and habits the one who had a rest with a child in this location is good.
There are supermums for whom a vacation with three restless children can seem like an exciting adventure, even if it’s three days before the deer to the beach, and back up a steep hill. And there are those who are used to round-the-clock help and one calm baby, and for them, any practical problem that needs to be solved alone can turn a vacation into a survival quest. At the same time, neither one nor the other mother deserves either admiration or blame, since our perception of rest, like life in general, is very subjective. Your task is to organize a pleasant vacation for yourself and your child, and not to understand “how they do it” by looking at the happy faces of other mothers on Facebook-Instragrams.
So evaluate your own skills, the limit of your patience with inconveniences, make your own “must have” list for relaxing with your baby and choose the most comfortable vacation option just for you.
My advice in this regard should also be read through the prism of our own preferences and prohibitions, they may be different for us. I only tried to summarize some of the wishes and fears of mothers traveling independently for the first time, who turn to me for advice on holidays in northern Greece (Chalkidiki, Pieria).

2. FIRST SOLID FLIGHT WITH A CHILD
With a child, if possible, you should choose direct flights, ideally day flights. On the route Moscow-Thessaloniki, for example, the choice of such flights is quite wide, however, as well as in many other directions. It would be very nice if you were escorted at the airport of departure to the check-in counter, and then to the zone of entry into the passport control zone. Remember to go to the toilet, eat without the baby in your arms, and make the most of your other needs while you're not alone. Such seemingly elementary things are often forgotten by nervous mothers who decide on their own to travel with a child for the first time.
At the airport and plane, do not hesitate to ask for help, if you really need it, and vice versa - politely refuse help if it is offered at the wrong time. For example, a person who is eager to help you may genuinely not understand that your child is afraid of strangers, and is doing you a disservice by making obsessive contact with him. A polite refusal with a smile in such cases most often works. But what you need in the same toilet, no one will guess except you, so if you ask a flight attendant or a friendly neighbor passenger to look after the baby for a couple of minutes, it will not be difficult for them, and you will not have to endure, and then pour out irritation on those around you or the child.
In addition to a comfortable stroller and the help of friendly people nearby, it helps a mother traveling on her own a good sling and/or ergo backpack. Literally unties hands. However, I do not advise you to buy this invention of progressive humanity right on the eve of departure. Learning new vehicles while you're on the road can only add stress to you and your baby. Buy it in advance so that the child has time to get used to traveling “on mom”.
Upon landing in Greece, in any case at Thessaloniki airport (I assume that in others too), try to approach one of the staff and ask you to skip the line at passport control, most often, the Greeks go forward in this, seeing a mother traveling alone with a baby.
Make sure you are met in advance. Of course, with a child, an individual transfer with a car seat is better, but if you have a tour package and you have to travel in a shared bus, then this is also real. The rule about the toilet and other own needs is the same as before the flight, take care of this if the transfer is going to be long. In general, when traveling alone with a child, the main rule is “do not forget about yourself”, and not only about whether the child has a clean diaper and whether he wants to eat and sleep.

3. WHERE TO STAY: HOTEL OR APARTMENT?
My personal choice with babies up to 2-3 years old is always on the side of apartments or small apart-hotels with a kitchen, and always far from the center of resort villages. So it is much less likely to put your baby under the “holiday of life” in the form of music, animation or the roar of motorcycles frolicking in the morning in different ways. And eating with a child according to the hours set in a hotel may not always be convenient. If you are tired of cooking yourself, taverns and cafes in Greece are more than "baby friendly", so you can always find a place to eat without standing at the stove. Of course, things are not always good with the children's menu, but it is not difficult to find rice, vegetables, pasta or other simple food in Greek catering. Soups and cereals are worse.
When choosing an apartment or a hotel room, if you will be alone with your child, it is preferable:
- access to housing WITHOUT climbing stairs (this criterion rejects many of the proposed options), if you plan to actively use a wheelchair,
- a large comfortable balcony, always with children's safety nets, if the child already gets up and crawls on his own (and if he can already climb obstacles, the first floor is generally better),
- ideally - the first floor with access to the lawn, WITHOUT stairs,
- no townhouses and other two-level housing (whatever protection is put on the stairs, it will become your headache),
- a minimum of "trinkets" in the apartment, which are dear to the owner, but can be potentially dangerous for the baby,
- providing a crib or playpen (in which you can put or put a child in order to at least go to the toilet or shower, even if at night the child does not sleep in a separate bed, but with you),
– the availability of additional sets of linen available (it’s great if there are also waterproof sheets on the bed under the main ones) and a washing machine,
– dishwasher as an additional advantage,
- check, perhaps they will be able to provide you with a blender and some other necessary little things,
- a stool for compiling, if needed,
- a potty if the child already needs it (although it is easy to buy on arrival, but if you are going to a tiny village, you may not be in close access),
- in the private sector, most likely, the owners will provide you with some beach toys - ask for everything that might be useful to you.

4. SELECTION OF THE PLACE OF RECREATION.
If you do not plan to rent a car, your ideal is the outskirts of a fairly large resort village (or even a little outside the village, but then a safe asphalt road should lead to it, but NOT the main city road), convenient for walking with a stroller). It is desirable to have at least one chain supermarket in the village. Then you don’t have to carry a supply of diapers for the entire period (although if you use, for example, only Japanese ones, then there is no such luxury in Greece, you still have to take them with you), and grocery shopping will also be simplified. The choice of ready-made baby food in Greece is not rich, since vegetables, fruits, and meat of good quality are available all year round. Formulas and dairy products are available.
When choosing a village, see if there is a path for walking with a stroller along the sea, and also if there are sharp descents and ascents on the way to the beach, otherwise you will be provided with daily free fitness, and in the very heat on the way from the beach you will be expected to climb to mountain, well, if without steps.

5. BEACH.
Your kid can with the same enthusiasm prefer both sand and small pebbles for lunch, you won’t guess in advance. I would still prefer sand. I remember pulling small stones out of the mouth of my one-year-old firstborn, when I first found myself on a pebbly beach with him, it was not the most pleasant experience. And the pebbles were beautiful and, probably, very tasty in appearance)))

Entry into the sea must be without a sharp depth.
Although the sleeves, along with children's sun cream, should always be with you on the beach if your baby is already moving independently.
Speaking of what you can expect with a child who has seen the sea for the first time, get ready for the fact that he may not want to even approach this sea. And, of course, do not drag him there by force (alas, I see such pictures here every summer). Maybe the opposite reaction: you can’t pull a child out of the water by the ears. In this case, do not leave him unattended even for a second, even with armlets. Swim with him. If you go into the water alone, swim near the shore and face the shore, so that the child (for example, sleeping under an umbrella on a bed or in a stroller) is always in your sight. Ideally, of course, on vacation, find a company so that you are not alone on the beach with your child. But one can really cope and even enjoy at times. It largely depends on the child and on his own zen.

6. MEDICINE.
In any large resort village there is a private doctor who accepts most travel insurances. But the level of qualification of such a doctor can be different, you can’t guess in advance. If you are an anxious mother, do not climb into particularly remote places, try to keep a major city no more than an hour away by car. If you are vacationing in Halkidiki, there are a couple of emergency centers there, but if you have a serious problem, you will need to go to the hospital in Thessaloniki.

7. COMPANY FOR RECREATION AND HELP WITH THE CHILD.
If you are not adventurous enough, it’s probably not worth climbing alone “into the village, into the wilderness, to Saratov” (even if this wilderness with a very beautiful beach). If you still really want to, then even before the trip, try to enlist the support of other mothers who are vacationing or living in the same places, so that in case of a problem you will not be left alone with her or not look in confusion for someone who can help. Anything can happen - you can feel bad yourself, the child can get sick. And even if everything goes well, you just might at some point want company or rest from round-the-clock communication only with your child. Facebook and other social networks provide unlimited opportunities for finding both fellow travelers and local mothers who live near your vacation spot. You can also often find paid babysitting services, which can be relevant both on an ongoing basis and in emergency cases.
When relaxing in a hotel, this is easier - you can always contact the staff. Some hotels provide a babysitting service for a fee. But here, when choosing a hotel, read the reviews especially carefully. Unfortunately, not all large hotels in Greece are distinguished by the friendly atmosphere and willingness to help tourists, like many ordinary locals. Among the latter, you can often receive unexpected help even from those who are not obliged to provide it to you in any way.

8. OTHER GREEK FEATURES
In Greece, your child will receive constant increased attention, there are both good and bad sides to this.
When buying products in the market or in butcher shops, point (if you can’t explain with the seller in words) directly to the baby sitting in your stroller or walking next to you. Almost 100% guarantee that they will pick up the best for you, part of it can be given as a gift))) But at any moment a curious Greek grandmother can climb into the baby stroller, a passing grandfather can quite sensitively pat your baby on the cheek in a fit of feelings, and the seller without asking put some kinder surprise into the hands of your six-month-old child. You can get annoyed at this, or you can just smile politely and physically remove the hand reaching out to the baby, calmly saying “no” (in Greek it will sound like “Oh”, but everyone will also understand English No).
In general, the fact that everyone is happy with your child (if you are prepared in advance for the fact that this is normal) gives more positive emotions than negative ones. Moreover, Greek grandmothers do not give out instructions to tourists on how to raise their babies right and left (unlike local newly-made mothers, who can get it in full, since the Greeks have very arbitrary concepts of personal boundaries))). I advise on individual trips in Greece, ask everything that interests you. A universal practical assistant for Russian-speaking mothers and non-mothers in Greece.
I organize women's and family joint trips. With children and without children. You can join my travels, write!

I need to take my mom on vacation. This is not discussed. But where to go? So that it is not very hot and at the same time it does not blow, so that there is a lot of interesting things to see and at the same time not to move at all. We wrote an article on how to plan the perfect vacation with your mom.

When to go?

The velvet season (September - October) is ideal for a holiday with the older generation.

Three years ago I was vacationing with my mother in Turkey. Her vacation was in July, so there were no options when to go. Out of ignorance, I also chose the hottest region - Alanya. The temperature was +40 degrees! So, on the way from the airport to the hotel, my mother was scary to look at. She constantly fanned herself and drank water, but she still broke seven sweats. Then, gradually, her body got used to the climate, but more in the season I will not take my mother to rest.

The main and very simple advice is to take a look at the weather forecast in the place where you want to go and choose the appropriate month. The Internet has archived data for at least the last ten years - for example, on the Gismeteo website. The statistics won't deceive you. The most comfortable temperature for a beach holiday is no higher than +25 degrees during the daytime, and for a sightseeing holiday - about +20-22 degrees.

Also, much fewer people rest during the velvet season, and the absence of crowds everywhere is a nice bonus. Yes, and tourists are becoming different - noisy young people give way to older and calmer ones.

What type of vacation to choose?

In fact, only your mother can answer this question. It is most effective to ask her herself: the sea, excursions or sanatorium treatment? If she refuses and generally assures that she does not need rest, then she will have to make a choice for her.

On the sea

  • Your mom will definitely not get tired physically.
  • Bathing and sea air are good for health.
  • Long exposure to the sun is harmful.
  • It can be boring if there is nothing to do in the evenings.

Tours

  • Informative and interesting, you definitely will not be bored.
  • Long daily walks are not meant for your mom's legs.

We advise you to combine these two types and get an almost perfect mix - a beach-excursion vacation. Depending on the interests and state of health, you can regulate yourself how much time to lie in the sun, and how much to walk.

Treatment in sanatoriums

  • Well, very helpful.
  • Surely your mother will make friends with other vacationers.
  • But you can quickly get bored.

Mikhail Danilov, Medical Director of the Health Tourism Association:

In sanatoriums, a person receives a complex health-improving and restoring effect due to climate therapy, the use of medical procedures and the removal of psycho-emotional stress. As a rule, already on the third day of staying at the resort, the state of health improves significantly. A classic sanatorium package on average includes 5-7 daily procedures, physiotherapy exercises, a visit to the pool, a course of massage sessions, and diet food.

Where to go?

Often the older generation flatly refuses to travel abroad, because "it's a visa to do", "there is sheer terrorism" and "they don't understand our way." If your mom didn't say anything like that, then here are some travel ideas.

Costa Brava, Spain

Costa Brava is the northern part of the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Firstly, you will definitely like the local beaches. Secondly, from the resorts of the Costa Brava to Barcelona (which means to the main airport of the country and to the city where you will certainly walk) is only 60-80 km. Choose a place with the most convenient transport accessibility - for example, from Blanes you can get to Barcelona by train in 1 hour, and from Lloret de Mar - in 1.5 hours by bus.

Rimini, Italy

Maybe in Rimini there are not the cleanest beaches, but what cities are nearby! Venice, Florence, Bologna - and all of them within two to three hours of a comfortable high-speed train. The cost of a one-way ticket is from 10 euros. You can plan a route and buy tickets on the website of the railway company Trenitalia.

Well, what woman, even at the age of 60, does not dream of riding a gondola or taking a picture with the Leaning Tower of Pisa? In Rimini, it is very convenient to alternate trips to luxurious Italian cities with "doing nothing" on the beach.

As many people say, in Rimini it's almost like in Anapa - there are a lot of Russians and Russian speakers. Mom should be comfortable.

Jurmala, Latvia

Jurmala is a 20-minute train ride from Riga and can be a compromise option. On the one hand - a foreign country, on the other - a city that is still very native in spirit. A beautiful endless embankment, a cozy center with its streets and cafes. And Jurmala is visited by many Russian artists. Go to the concert of Larisa Dolina (mothers are still very fond of) during your vacation.

Irina explains the choice of Jurmala:

Our family does not like too hot climate, we try to avoid it. So Jurmala is just a place with a pleasant summer climate, without exhausting heat. And of course, Riga is within reach, where you can take a walk. There are no language problems, most of them speak Russian, so this place does not cause stress for parents, they can relax and enjoy their vacation.

Paphos, Cyprus

Cyprus is ideal if your mother is not eager to open a Schengen visa. Here it is enough to fill out an online questionnaire (full name, passport details, profession and place of residence in Cyprus are indicated). In one day you will receive a pro-visa.

For recreation, it is better to choose not small resort villages, but cities - for example, Paphos. When you get tired of lying on the beach, you can walk along the equipped promenade and along the local streets in the city center, look into shops and cafes.

If mom is not ready to go abroad

Consider vacation options in Russia.

Taganrog, Rostov region

This destination is for those who do not want to travel outside the country, but do not mind diversifying their vacation. You have probably already been to Sochi, but what about Taganrog? The city stands on the shores of the Sea of Azov, which warms up to +26 degrees in summer. There are no young people among the vacationers, which means that there is not much noise.

And the prices are nice. For example, a trip around the city by taxi will cost 70-120 rubles. Here you can choose both a sanatorium for recreation and a simple hotel.

Anna tells why she chose Taganrog this year:

Every time we can not decide where to fly. To Asia - a long flight, to Europe - my mother does not know English. And about Turkey and in general there can be no talk - there is sheer terrorism and explosions there! As a result, the choice falls on something in the Krasnodar Territory or Taganrog, as this year. At the same time, mother cannot be pulled out of the sea. So we are not even talking about any excursions. And what interesting sights can there be in places where you have been at least a hundred times ...

Sanatoriums of Crimea

Keep in mind that each sanatorium specializes in the treatment and prevention of various diseases, so you need to choose carefully. So, people come to Yalta mainly with diseases of the respiratory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system. Sanatoriums of Evpatoria and other resorts on the Western coast of Crimea are good for those who have diseases of the nervous system, gynecological diseases and skin diseases.

And Crimea will certainly inspire pleasant nostalgia for the Soviet past.

Dmitry talks about his mother's preferences:

I often flew on business trips to different countries and sometimes took my mother with me. While I work, she rests. But it turned out that it is more pleasant for her to visit places that remind her of her youth and Soviet times. I must say that my mother still lives in a distant provincial town, does not pursue service and fashion trends. On vacation, she prefers spa services - massages and procedures, 5 meals a day, walks and discos in the evenings. To keep everything on schedule. One of these places was Evpatoria - a cozy resort town, still dusty with Soviet and Russian (pre-revolutionary) history.

How to create maximum comfort for mom?

A trip with mom needs to be thought through to the smallest detail, otherwise the vacation may be ruined. We have collected for you the main tips - what you need to take care of first.

  • Be sure to help your mother fill out the form and collect documents for obtaining a visa. Try to go with her to the visa center. If this is a common procedure for you, then all this red tape can become stressful for your mother.
  • Don't buy transfer tickets. It is better to overpay, but choose direct flights. For an extra wait at the airport, another takeoff and landing, my mother will not say thank you.
  • For mom, buy a ticket with paid baggage and do not forget to remind her of the maximum weight. Also, tell us about the rules for carrying things in hand luggage. It is unlikely that she will be happy if at the airport she is forced to throw away her favorite perfume, with a volume of more than 100 ml.
  • If mom can sleep during the flight, then pick up a night flight or early in the morning. If it’s usually hard for her to “turn off”, then, on the contrary, day flights will do: so she can sleep at home and go on a trip rested.
  • To make it easier for mom to endure the flight, advise her to get up regularly and stretch her legs. You need to drink more water and exclude foods and drinks that retain fluid: alcohol, salty, smoked, fatty.

Accommodation:

  • It is best to choose a hotel that will be located not very far from the airport. After the flight, mom will want to rest, and not shake for a few more hours in the bus / taxi.
  • Near the hotel there should be a developed infrastructure: bus and railway stops, shops, cafes, pharmacies.
  • Don't exhaust your mom with long walking tours. It is necessary to dose physical activity, even if it takes place in a dream country where you want to go sightseeing around the clock.

Marina Berezko, surgeon-phlebologist:

After long walks or excursions, the older generation is often faced with heavy legs syndrome. To avoid these unpleasant symptoms, it is recommended to use compression stockings during travel - socks or stockings, especially if a person already has manifestations of varicose veins. Now there are even special travel knitwear models. If pain and swelling of the legs still appear - at the first opportunity, you should lie down, raising your legs with a pillow.

It so happened that after spending two weeks on vacation last year, I no longer managed to take a vacation and relax, even at home. This year, though not yet over, has been a difficult one for me. The gradual deterioration of my mother (more frequent psychoses, her early wake-ups at 4, 5 in the morning did their job), my son had to go to college, and although he studied well, everything still fell on my shoulders, my husband, on the eve of the 20th anniversary of our joint life also arranged an unpleasant surprise (because of his mother). I was spinning between them all and did not even know who needed to pay more attention: a sick mother, a teenage son, or a husband deprived of attention? After the exams were passed, and the documents were submitted to the institute and the situation with admission cleared up, I immediately arranged a vacation and a trip.

So: mom, me and my son are flying to our beloved Turkey. I do not want to offend anyone, but I liked the phrase I recently read: "Those who do not have enough money for Sochi fly to Turkey."

Before the trip, of course, I had concerns about my mother, but I have no one to leave her with, my mother is still mobile. Why not? As soon as the ticket was paid, I began to slowly prepare my mother for the trip. Every day I asked the same question, "Mom, will we go to the sea, to Turkey?" Mom joyfully answered that she had already been there and would go again with pleasure. But after one of the evenings, to the same question, my mother categorically answered that she would not go anywhere, but would stay at home, and my arguments that tickets had already been bought for her did not work, then I stopped asking her questions, and even her I collected things secretly, although before my mother always took an active part in choosing outfits.

Our flight was at night, so I just came at night, woke up my mother, helped her get dressed and said that we were all going on vacation. Everything went peacefully. My mother tolerates flying on an airplane well, but just in case, I took various sedative medicines with me. Mom just doesn't understand that we're flying, we're just driving a car and getting stuck in a traffic jam (that's her thoughts). We flew on a Turkish low-cost airline, and all the announcements there were made only in Turkish and English. I don’t know what was funny to my mother, but only when Turkish was spoken, my mother always laughed and said that nothing was clear (as if she understood something in English). On the plane, my mother looked at pictures from magazines with pleasure, when food is brought, then for mother this is also entertainment. I went to the toilet with my mother together, one on one, like with a small child. It is necessary to open the door, show where to sit down, where is the paper. I did not close the door, but stood in the corridor, in the aisle and supervised the process.

We flew normally. In the bus that delivers tourists, everyone was a little tired after the night flight. Everyone but my mom. In my opinion, she was just happy that she was among people and there was a little increased attention to her. The meeting guide asked standard questions, the people remained silent and only the joyful voice of my mother always sounded when answering.

Finally we got to the hotel. Since we arrived this year at the height of the season, the check-in was not immediately (and even the venerable age of my mother did not speed up this process), we had to hang out in the hotel lobby for several hours. Fortunately, we were not there for the first time and knew where to eat and where to go.

I was calm that everything went well, but my mother, after a sleepless night, was apparently already tired, and she began to have psychosis. She dreamed that her late mother was here with us, and she went to "eat soup" and did not return for a long time. Mom became all nervous and asked my son and I to go look for her mother, as something had happened to her. Even when we were given the keys to the room, she did not want to leave without her mother. With difficulty, through various conversations, we managed to calm my mother down and transfer her attention to another topic. On the same day, we also had a bad mood that arose from my mother and her conversation with mirrors, which we never have at home. Another incident occurred at night, which frightened me very much. I woke up to hear my mother's loud moans. Turning on the light, I began to ask what happened? Mom could not say anything intelligibly and only pointed to her leg and moaned. She was shaking all over. As it turned out later, my mother just had a very severe leg cramp. And I already thought about the worst.

There were no more unpleasant adventures before departure. Mom with pleasure and for a long time swam in the pool for her, even at a depth. The truth went into the sea with caution, because she was afraid of the waves, although the sea was warm and the waves were not strong, but with illness she developed a fear of the sea. Mom molested all the children who were in the field of our location, she asked everyone what his or her name was and told the children different compliments, depending on who it was a girl or a boy. Children are very spontaneous, and they willingly answered their mother's questions. In the morning, my mother, accustomed to neatness, always made our bed. When we went to eat, my mother greeted many people warmly.

Every day I measured my mother's blood pressure, and that's amazing, it would seem the heat, climate change, but no. The hot sun seemed to be good for my mother, the pressure was almost always normal. Many compatriots, seeing my mother, asked me about how my mother carries the plane, how I decide to travel with her. She replied that everything is individual. Some did not even hide the diagnosis. Looking at my mother and me, several women said that they would probably also decide and bring their mothers next year. I understand very well their feeling that our mothers, born before or immediately after the war, did not manage to see anything good, and if there is such a financial opportunity and mothers are mobile, then why not?

I started traveling to Turkey when my son didn’t go to school yet, we left him at the table and brought food with mom, and now we take a table, leave mom like a little son once, we punish her not to go anywhere and queues bring food for all of us.

In the room, my mother quickly got used to it. No problem remembering where the toilet is. She got up at night. I remembered where the door to the balcony was, but, amazingly, during the entire stay, my mother could not remember where the door to the exit was and kept breaking on the door, where the toilet was, or on the door to the balcony.

Every evening we went to evening shows (first for children, then stayed for adults). Mom sang and danced. And it was a complete blow for me: when one of the evenings three popular youth groups arrived at the hotel and performed, and an open-air disco concert was arranged, how mother LIGHTED !!! I'm very sorry that I didn't get a good video. Two elderly respectable foreigners simply did not take their eyes off my mother.

But now, vacation is over. Time to go home. We are already at the airport, but then the unexpected happens and our scheduled flight is delayed indefinitely. Considering that we are already brought to the airport in a few hours, and here it has already been 4 hours and no information: what, when, complete uncertainty. I don’t know what influenced my mother, but she began to have a real psychosis. Mom began to rush home, she does not perceive my explanations that the plane broke down, the flight is delayed. He tells me that if we need it, then you fly, but she will not fly anywhere, but will go home. The pressure is off scale, my mother refuses to take pills, she swears at me, tries to push me away from herself and even starts to fight with me. I am very ashamed, but it is good that this is a night flight, many are tired and sleep or walk around the hall. There are not so many people. Mom does not want to sit or lie down. She walks around the hall with furious screams and tries to approach the doors that usually lead to the field where the planes are. These exits are fenced off with red tape, but mom doesn't care. She crawls under the tape and starts knocking on the window door. I vividly imagine a picture of how we are taken to the police for violating the rules of conduct at the airport. Fun!!! More than 4 hours have passed, we are invited to have a bite to eat in a cafe. Manages to give mom pills. After a while, my mother calmed down a little. A few more hours passed. A small riot begins among the people in order to finally find out when our plane will be served, since up to this moment, no one cares about us. The people scream, this mother revives. She joyfully joins the screaming. I’m calmer, my mother has where to throw out energy. We are told that the plane has already been served. The journey came to an end, with virtually no loss or incident.

The sun and water had a very good effect on my mother. For almost a month she was calmer, did not jump up very early. Easily endured trips to the country for one or two days. It was adequate enough.

But, then autumn came, psychosis began again, swotting at the door and other joys. I will write about my mother's condition a little later.
